Hawaii :D (Part 2)

Tuesday April 11th
Woke up to birds chirping and the sounds of waves. We made breakfast and after that we started packing and taking the tents down. Back in the van and off to Pu’uhona o Hônaunau National Historical Park where we were going snorkeling! We got our equipment and jumped into the clear blue water. We swam around and saw all kinds of fishes but best of all was the wild dolphins 😀 After the snorkeling we stopped at Magic Sand Beach for some beach time 🙂 Next stop was Punalu’u Beach also knows as The Black Sand Beach. After a while walking around and looking at the turtle we took turns to shower before we headed to our new camp by the Volcano. We set up the tents and started cooking dinner, pasta with meat sauce and salad 🙂

Wednesday April 12th
After breakfast we took off to Punalu’u bake shop the Southernmost bakery shop in the USA! We bought some yummy pastries! After that went
on a hike to Papakôlea Beach or Green Sand Beach. It was so hot but a very beautiful walk 🙂 When we got to beach we all jumped in the water and enjoyed the big waves and it was perfect for boggie boardning, so much fun 😀 I think we spent like four hours there and then we took the shuttle back and it was such a bumpy ride we almost fell off! After the beach we drove to a coffee farm – Paradise Meadows Farm. We got to taste all kinds of Macadamia nuts and coffee, so good 🙂 Last stop of the day was Thomas A. Jaggar Museum where we saw a Lava Lake/Crater. it was so cool cause you could see lava bubbling in the crater!
