Saturday August 5th
Nick and I woke up kinda early and packed to go to Index for the weekend. We had decided to hike to Bridal Veil Falls and Lake Serene

It was a good hike “over the mountains and through the woods” and “sometimes the rockiest paths leads to the most beautiful places” the waterfall and the lake was beautiful. When we got up to the lake we ate our lunch on a big rock looking out over the lake. Some people even went for a swim in the lake, crazy! When we got back to the house we showered and I started making dinner since it was Nick’s birthday weekend I offered to cook. I made Chicken a la King, and a salad, we sat outside with a candle and it was just perfect 😀
