Seattle Day! :D
Sunday March 4th
This day Nick and I planned a Seattle Day to do all the things I had left on my bucket list and also to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! We started the day with having lunch at Dick's which is a Seattle based hamburger drive in. After lunch we parked the car by the stadium and took the link downtown. Our first stop was the Greetings from Seattle wall, unfortunately it was closed since it's on private property but we could still see it so I'm happy! Second stop was my favorite cafe, it's always crowded but cozy with a fireplace. We had a cup of coffee and sat down talking for a while 🙂
After this we walked around at Pike Place Market and Nick bought me a fresh bouquet of tulips. Next stop was the Pink wall before we walk down to the waterfront and walked around until it was time to go to the restaurant where we had a table reserved. We had a delicious dinner and the sun started to peek through the clouds. After dinner it was time for the Great Wheel. I was scared, nervous and excited! Nick had bought VIP tickets so we got a glass of champagne and we skipped the line. While sitting down waiting for our turn to get on I was shaking of nervousness and kept saying "Omg I'm gonna die!" For you who don't know I'm scared of heights. We got a special gondola with leather seats and we could play music 🙂 Once in there and up in the sky with the sun setting Nick went down on one knee and proposed 😍 I cried of happiness and said Yes, it was perfect!
We ended the night at Columbia tower to look out over Seattle with all the city lights, so beautiful and just a perfect Seattle Day! 😀
