June 21st 2018

The wait was finally over and me and my love was reunited! Me, my grandpa drove to the Arlanda airport where we met up with my dad. So my family has never met Nick except through Skype and they were thrilled to meet him. I was super nervous and excited when I was standing at the terminal waiting, waiting and waiting. When I saw him I ran over and hugged him and it felt so good and at the same time unreal – he was finally here! 😀 on the ride home he slept and the evening was spent at home just relaxing and trying to tackle the jet leg.

June 22nd
Midsummer Eve!

Easy morning with prepping for the midsummer lunch at my house 🙂 We had the traditionally Swedish midsummer food – potatoes, herring, sour creme, eggs, meatballs and the of course the aquavit with schnapps songs! After a yummy lunch me, Nick and my cousin Maria went up to Dössberget to see the raising of the may pole and then dance around it, it was such a fun time showing Nick a real Swedish midsummer 😀

June 23rd
Midsummer Day!

My dad with his family came to visit this day and my cousins that all wanted to meet Nick. We had a nice dinner and played Kubb before Nick and I took off to go to my friend Malin’s traditionally midsummers day party 😀 We were a big group, bbq, kubb and party until we went up to Dössberget to dance and party. We had a lot of fun on the open dance floor 😀

June 24th

On this day me, Nick, grandpa, my uncle Stefan and cousin Max went on a hike to Knubben 🙂
