Europe – Part 2! :D
July 4th
We left Holland early in the morning and flew to Italy 🙂 We had rented an apartment that was walking distance to the Coliseum which was very nice. So this day we explored the Coliseum, it was super hot and sticky outside and a lot of people. The Coliseum was very cool, we walked around and had an app on our phones as a guide. In the evening we had dinner at a restaurant close to our place.

This day we went to the Vatican Museums. We did a guided tour, a lot of people so it was crowded but it was also very interesting and we saw a lot of historical things. We saw the galleries, Sistine Chapel with the famous mural by Michelangelo where we were not allowed to talk or take pictures. Nick and I went up in the St. Peter’s Basilica Dome, it was 551 steps to the top!
