Stockholm Weekend!
January 25th 2019
In the morning I took the train to Stockholm to spend the weekend at my dad 🙂 This day I had my Chest X-rays for the medical appointment for my Visa process. When I arrived it was snowing like crazy and I don’t know my way around downtown that well so I had go with Google maps but my phone was slowing dying and then died. I was walking around in the snow with carry on bag, no battery and trying to find the place where i had my appointment. After some walking around, stopping at a cafe to charge my phone I finally made it! After the appointment I walked back to the train/sub station, had some Starbucks while I was waiting for my dads partner Sanna to arrive 🙂 Sanna had planned a little surprise luxury weekend for us two!
We started the afternoon with a museum, then dinner at Friday’s and then the first surprise of the weekend – Ghost the Musical! 😀

In the morning Sanna had planned for us to go to a Spa, Centralbadet. It was so nice to relax in the different hot tubs, pool and saunas and to spend some quality time together. In the evening my dad joined us for a dinner at Urban Deli, so delicious and then we all went to a bar called “Höjden”. We had a really good time 😀

I left dad’s house early to go to my big visa medical appointment. It was a very specific medical examination, a nurse did the basic like weight, height, vision, blood pressure etc. After that I got to meet the doctor. There’s only two doctors in all of Sweden that does this medical appointment for American Visas. The doctor asked a lot of questions and just typed them down and it felt it only took 10 minutes. After that I had to take two or three shots and walk to a different clinic to take a blood test and then I was all done and just wait for the results to go to the American Embassy in Stockholm. Before I took the train back home I did some shopping 🙂
