February 1st – 17th 2019

This post will be a summary of my last weeks in Sweden!

I worked my last 4 days at my work, a preschool, I was working with the 1-2 year olds! I went to Gavle one last time for some Mellomys with my College girls 😀

Friday February 8th

This day my work colleagues was taking me out for a dinner, little did I know that they had planned a little bachelorette party for me. They picked me up in a minivan, we had some drinks, I still had no idea not until when we parked at the restaurant when they brought out a crown with a veil, a candy bouquet! I was so surprised! It was a lovely night and I will miss them all <3

February 9th 2019

This evening we had a family dinner at my cousins, just a lot of good food and drinks and just enjoying the last time together.

February 12th 2019

My passport came and it had my approved Visa in it!! 😀 We did it, after 264 days I finally had my passport with my visa in my hands and the flight was booked, the hard work and waiting was over! All that was left now was for me to travel across the world to marry the love of my life! This whole journey was a roller coaster and it felt so unreal and emotional being at the end <3 This evening me, grandma and grandpa celebrated the good news with some sparkling wine and luxury dinner!

The days after getting my visa was just getting ready, going through my closet, trying to pack down my whole life in two big suitcases and a carry on – it’s so hard! Luckily I had sent Nick with a suitcase when he left in November. I also had a goodbye dinner with my best friend Malin and just having quality time with grandma and grandpa.
