Thursday June 29th
Finally this day arrived and I had been waiting for it! I was going to Los Angeles to meet family, my uncle, aunt and cousins 😀 Last time I saw them was at Christmas. My flight was in the afternoon and I arrived at the hotel with a big smile and met my family. We went out for dinner, Hard Rock Café in Hollywood, it was so good!

Friday June 30th
We woke up early to be at Universal Studios when they opened 9am 😀 We had front of line tickets and we started with the Harry Potter world, we had no idea what was waiting us so after the first ride we were blown away – it was amazing! Our front of the line tickets worked one time at each ride and it ended at 6:30 pm and we managed to do all the rides! After 6:30 we decided for three rides that we wanted to do again since we now had to stand in line but we discovered we could go in the single ride line and go as singles and that saved a lot of time so we actually had time to do all the rides one more time! I think we walked out of the park around 9pm and we went back to our hotel and had dinner at Panda Express that was close by 🙂

Saturday July 1st
We spent the whole day shopping in Hollywood! We all found some really good stuff 😀

Sunday July 2nd
This day was spent in Santa Monica and Venice. We walked around on the Pier and then started walking on the beach walk towards Venice. We found a good spot to lay down and just relax on the beach. I bought a boggie board and I showed my cousins how to use and we had a lot of fun catching the waves 😀 We ended the beach day with a really good dinner in the sunset at a restaurant in Santa Monica.

Monday July 3rd
After four days of fun together it was time to pack and say goodbye 🙁 Saying goodbye is always bittersweet, it’s sad cause you know you won’t see them for a long time again but at the same time you are happy for the time you spent together. Next time I will see them will be in April 2018, so not for a long time! It was really nice to meet them and it gave me some good energy to keep on going 🙂
