Space Needle!
Sunday May 28th
This day Nick had a birthday surprise for me, my birthday was May 22nd. The only thing I knew was that I had to dress up and that it was gonna be at noon. I got ready and Nick picked me up and I was so excited! I had no idea what the surprise was gonna be until we parked the car by the Space Needle. For you who don’t live in Seattle, Space Needle is an observation tower, a landmark of the Pacific Northwest and a tourist attraction in Seattle. To go up in the Space Needle has been on my bucket list before I moved here but I have never thought I would have the guts to do it, cause 1. I’m scared of heights, 2. I don’t like elevators and that’s how you get up there.
Nervously I stepped in the elevator with Nick, grabbed on to the handle and after a while I dared to look out. The elevator was super quick and we stepped out and we were at the observation deck. We walked out on the deck for a little bit while waiting for our table, cause there is a restaurant up there as well. We got a really good table facing the window = view, we were so lucky with the weather this day – blue sky and sunny! We had a three course brunch and it was delicious 😀 The restaurant slowly spins around so you get a full view of Seattle. After the brunch we walked up to the observation deck again and walked around! I’m so happy and proud of myself that I made it 😀
